Trust & payments

Task-Link holds the task budget until the hirer confirms the work. for card-funded tasks, the task amount is reserved (pre-authorised) on the Hirer's own card and stays in the Hirer's account until release; for wallet-funded tasks, the amount is recorded against the Hirer's Platform wallet and held by the Company pending release. Payments are processed by Paystack Payments South Africa, a licensed payment processor, which processes card payments and bank transfers on our behalf.

Card-funded tasks

When you accept an offer we pre-authorise the amount on your card. That reservation lasts 3 days. When you confirm completion we capture it. If the hold lapses before capture, the helper is not paid from that card reservation.

Wallet-funded tasks

You top up your Task-Link wallet (minimum R 50). The task amount is recorded against the wallet until release. Helpers cash out to a South African bank (minimum R 50).

Fees

Standard service fee 10% (verified 9%, Pro 7%), plus VAT on the fee. Minimum task R 25.
